• Holds highest Dutch coaching license (UEFA-A); licenced Sports-Teacher.
• Worked as a head-coach for 10 years with teams up till 3th Dutch League
• Works as Goalkeeping-Coach for FC Utrecht (for the last 11 seasons); former clubs as a Goalkeeping Coach: NEC; Fortuna Sittard and NAC .
• Works as a teacher for GK-Coaches-courses for a.o. the Austrian and German Football Assosiation. Has an exclusive contract with the Mexican Football Assosiation.
• Had (and has) his own Uhlsport-Pro Goal-goalkeeping camps all over the world (a.o. Hongkong;Norway;Germany; U.S.A. etc.) In these camps he worked with a.o. Toni Schumacher;Hans van Breukelen;Oliver Kahn,Jens Lehmann etc. Leads the Uhlsport Challenge Tour in Germany and Holland for Uhlsport.
• Made two succesfull DVD’s about goalkeeping: “Conditioning “ and “Training like the Pro’s”. Is now working on its third: “Goalkeeping Coaching Complete”. Will be released at the end of this year.
• Wrote two books about Goalkeeping: “Handbook Goalkeeping” and recently “The Coach and his keeper”.
• Signs up all the Dutch Topkeepers that play with Uhlsport.This season 13 out of 18 in the Dutch Highest League do.
• Owns a internet-store at www.progoal.nl; started Goalkeeping schools under: www.keepersscholen.nl
• Recent success:
- 5 years UEFA-Cup; three Cup-Finals. Utrecht won 2 Cup-Finals against Feyenoord and FC Twente.
- Winner of the Dutch Super Cup against Ajax.
- Wapenaar was nominated for “The best Dutch Goalkeeper” for 3 seasons.
- Goalkeeper Michel Vorm is selected for the Dutch National Team.Played his first match against Sweden, November 2008..
- Goalkeepers he worked with got a transfer to clubs abroad:
Postma (Aston Villa); van Zwam (Jubilo Iwata); Karelse (Newcastle United); Wapenaar (Portsmouth);
